The term lift may refer to:
- The maximum vertical distance through which the load hook can travel.
- A piece of lifting machinery, such as a lift truck, lift table, scissor lift or personnel lift.
- The total allowable hook movement between its upper limit of travel and its lower limit of travel.
- Lift tables are ergonomic devices utilized to raise, lower or tilt work loads such as pallets and containers.[1]
