Hydrogen (H) is the simplest element in the universe, containing a single proton and electron.

In material handling, hydrogen is used primarily as a fuel source for forklift trucks and other mobile equipment. Trucks fueled by hydrogen come equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell instead of a normal lead acid battery. Fuel cells are an alternative fuel source and have been gaining prominence over the last few years.1
