Charging Various Types of Batteries

  • Lead acid batteries require a minimum of 2.15 volts per cell to charge. The number of volts required increase as the temperature drops.[3]
  • An Absorbed glass mat battery may be charged at C/3 (where C is the number of amp-hours of battery capacity) or faster, as long as it is not overcharged.[4]
