The Code 39 bar code is a type of bar code commonly used for labels in inventory and industrial applications. It is the simplest type of bar code. The symbology for Code 39 allows for the usage of the full 128 ASCII character set.
Reading Code 39 Bar Codes
The most common method of reading bar codes is with a bar code scanner. Most bar code scanners have the ability to read Code 39 bar codes by default.[1]
