William Ash, vice president at Orbis Corporation since 2004, was named as the company’s new president on September 8.

Orbis, headquartered in Oconomowoc, Wis., is the second-largest operating division of the Menasha Corporation, Neenah, Wis.

“Bill is a talented leader with experience in all facets of Orbis’ business, extensive industry knowledge and work in international operations,” said James Kotek, Menasha Corporation president and chief executive officer, in an Orbis news release. “He has proven himself to be an accomplished and effective manager and was very instrumental in the successful integration of the two largest acquisitions in Menasha Corporation’s history — Linpac Group Limited’s material handling business in December 2006 and Norseman Plastic Holdings Ltd. in October 2008.”

In leading Orbis, Ash heads a company that helps other companies analyze supply systems and design reusable packaging solutions, according to the release.
