NITCO To Acquire Hyster New England

After 40 years in the materials handling industry, Charlie Haywood, president and owner of Hyster New England, announced that he will be selling his business and retiring.

Northland Industrial Truck Co. (NITCO), headquartered in Wilmington, MA, announced its intention to purchase the business assets of Hyster New England, headquartered in Billerica, MA. It is expected that the actual closing date will be January 2010.

Hyster New England is the exclusive Hyster lift truck dealer for the entire New England region with the exception of the western counties of Vermont, and Berkshire County in Massachusetts.

NITCO is the exclusive Yale lift truck dealer for central and eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. In addition to representing Yale product, NITCO represents multiple world-class equipment manufacturers and is widely recognized for its engineered systems expertise.
