MHEDA Members Tee Off

- 5/4/2009
The sun was up, the wind was blowing and the putts were falling as 76 golfers hit the links at the Palm Course at Desert Springs Golf Club on the first day of MHEDA’s Annual Convention in Palm Desert, CA. The morning started off cool and breezy, but the desert sun heated up quickly, making for a great day of golf. Twenty groups set out for a 7:30 shotgun start on the championship course. Whether their putts were falling or not, all the players were able to enjoy the beauty of the course with the Santa Rosa Mountains towering in the background and wonderfully landscaped fairways and waterscapes throughout the course.

President-Elect Greg Morrison of Morrison Industrial Equipment Company , along with his team of Jim Bronsema from TGW-ERMANCO and Ed Campbell from Landoll Corp., took first place honors with a score of 60 (12 under par). In second place, also with a score of 60, was the team of John and Brenda Parsons of Deep South Equipment Co., Chris Wetle of Papé Material Handling and Ronnie Keene of Bolzoni Auramo, Inc.

Individual awards went to Lance Anderson (Beumer Corp.) for the longest drive and Pete Webb (Tennsco Corp.) for closest to the pin.
