Tokyo, Japan – Komatsu Forklift Australia Pty Ltd. officially opened its doors in Australia, creating history as Komatsu Forklift’s first factory-owned distribution company in its 56 years of producing forklifts.

The material handling company was purchased in April this year by Komatsu Ltd., Japan.

Komatsu Forklift Australia’s 11 branches are strategically positioned throughout Australia. Shaun O’Brien, national sales and marketing manager for Komatsu Forklift Australia says the Australian market will be introduced to a range of Komatsu equipment. "The market can expect a couple of product launches over the next couple of months.”
