Milwaukee, WI – Goodwill Industries is providing a three-week forklift certification program as part of its Work Adjustment Training programs.

"We spend three weeks versus some people go in and spend four hours and they have a forklift license. We try to make sure that our people are going to leave here with the safety knowledge first," says Instructor Michael Giles.

Kay Wolferstetter, director of Goodwill's Work Adjustment Training programs, says the number of program attendees has tripled in the past year since the economy began to falter.
