G & W Equipment, Inc. has purchased the forklift and material handling business of Piedmont Forklift, Inc. of Greenville, SC and the upstate area of South Carolina and the Augusta, GA markets. Piedmont Forklift has been a very successful distributor and service company for Clark Forklifts, Doosan Forklifts and many other material handling products for the past 56 years. President Michael Sabbagh stated that G & W Equipment will base its South Carolina operations out of the current Piedmont Forklift facility in Greenville and use it to grow the combined business. This new Greenville, SC operation will perform business under the name of G&W Piedmont Forklift. Jeff Bradley is the new Branch Manager. All employees of Piedmont Forklift will transfer to G & W Piedmont Forklift.
