In Yantai, China, a port city located just an hour by plane from Incheon International Airport, Doosan Infracore is blazing new trails for Korean companies looking to penetrate the Chinese market. The company, which ranks as Korea’s largest construction equipment maker, has held the largest share of the excavator market in China for seven consecutive years, hitting 16.7 percent at the end of 2008. This year, Doosan Infracore expects to hit a new record for excavator sales in the Chinese market. Through November, it had sold 13,200 excavators in the country - already surpassing the number it sold for all of last year.
